Who is responsible for your information

My Store is the controller of the personal information collected through this website. That means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email address, delivery and billing address, telephone number.
  • Order information: the garments you buy, sizes, order value, delivery method, returns and exchanges.
  • Payment information: the fact and status of a payment. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and never reach our systems.
  • Account information: your login details and saved addresses, if you create an account.
  • Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, by email, and your marketing preferences.
  • Technical and usage information: device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you move through the site. Most of this is collected through cookies, and only with your consent where consent is required.

03

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To take and fulfil your order, deliver it, handle returns, refunds and exchanges, and give you customer support — because this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To take payment and to prevent and detect fraud — to perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interest in protecting the business against fraudulent orders.
  • To keep records of sales, VAT and refunds — to comply with our legal obligations.
  • To send marketing emails about new pieces and collections — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To improve the website, our range and our service, including through analytics — with your consent for non-essential cookies, and for our legitimate interest in understanding how the store is used.
  • To manage your account and respond to your messages — to perform our contract with you and for our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

04

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with organisations that help us run the store, and only with what they need:

  • payment providers, who process your payment and carry out fraud checks;
  • delivery carriers, who need your name, address and contact details to deliver your parcel;
  • the platform that hosts this store, and our email and analytics providers;
  • our professional advisers, and public authorities or regulators where the law requires us to disclose information.

These organisations act on our instructions under a written contract and may not use your information for their own purposes.

05

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we make sure a similar level of protection applies, either because the country is covered by UK adequacy regulations or because the transfer is governed by approved contractual safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.

06

How long we keep it

  • Order, payment and tax records: six years after the end of the financial year the order falls in, as UK tax law requires.
  • Account information: for as long as your account is open, and a short period afterwards if you close it.
  • Marketing consent and contact details: until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete them.
  • Enquiries and customer service messages: normally up to two years after the matter is closed.
  • Cookie and analytics data: for the periods set out in our cookie policy.

07

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • ask us to delete information where there is no good reason for us to keep it;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time;
  • ask us to restrict how we use your information while a concern is resolved;
  • receive the information you gave us in a portable format, or have it sent to another provider;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. There is no charge, and we will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

08

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.

09

Security and children

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections across the site and checkout, and access limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please keep your account password to yourself.

This store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choices at any time.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, and significant changes will be brought to your attention.
